Dr Catherine Harris

Clinical Practice:

 

Dr Harris is a locally trained obstetrician and gynaecologist who practices at Glengarry Private Hospital and Joondalup Private Hospital. She consults out of her rooms in Duncraig.

 

From July this year Dr Harris will offer consulting from Joondalup Private Hospital in the Specialist Medical Center East (Suite 9).

 

Background  & Training:

 

• Year of Residency Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital / King Edward Memorial Hospital.
• Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist training at King Edward Memorial / Joondalup / and Osborne Park Hospitals.
• General Surgical Training at Joondalup and Osborne Park Hospitals 2000.
• IVF / Infertility training with Dr Anne Jequier at The Mount and Joondalup Hospitals 2001.
• Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology 2002.
• Current HDAA Diagnostic Imaging accreditation FSEP 2022.
• Fetal Surveillance Education Program, certification 2022.

• All aspects of obstetric care
• High/low risk pregnancies
• The full spectrum of patient care options
• Patients who choose for a planned Caesarean section will be supported.

General Gynaecology including:
• Endometrial Ablation
• Laparoscopic Sterilisation
• IUD insertion and removal
• Primary Prolapse Repair
• Hysterectomy
• No gap for hospital gynaecological inpatient procedures with Private Health Insurance.
