Dr Cheryl Silveira

Dr Cheryl Silveira is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with an interest in advanced laparoscopic surgery and has over 10 years of experience in providing exceptional care for women's health. She is passionate about empowering women to take charge of their health and believes in providing a safe, supportive environment where patients feel heard and respected.

With extensive experience in managing a wide range of gynaecological conditions from diagnosis, counselling and medical management, to complex surgical interventions, when necessary, she is committed to delivering the highest standard of care. Dr Cheryl Silveira specialises in minimally invasive surgery and combines these advanced techniques with a personalised approach to ensure that every patient receives the most effective and tailored treatment options.

She completed her specialist training primarily at Westmead Hospital and was the Senior Registrar at Auburn Hospital for her final year of training. Her final two years of training was focussed on minimally invasive gynaecological surgery as well as some experience in urogynaecology. Since finishing training, she has been working as a Staff Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Nepean Hospital and Visiting Medical Officer Gynaecologist at Concord Hospital.

Outside of her practice, Dr Silveira enjoys spending time with her two beautiful girls, travelling the world, appreciating good food with her husband and cake decorating.
