Mitcham Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Christine Fenton, obstetrician, and gynaecologist.
Christine graduated Medicine with Honours from Monash University in 2013, also completing a Bachelor of Medical Science and was awarded the RANZCOG Research Foundation Scholarship for her studies.
Christine spent her early medical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital before commencing specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Women’s Hospital in Melbourne. Her training years also included valuable time at Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital, Sandringham Hospital and Eastern Health.
She currently holds a public appointment at Eastern Health providing specialist obstetric and gynaecological treatments across the Eastern network.
In addition to her clinical roles, Christine is actively involved in medical education. She holds teaching appointments with both Monash and Deakin Universities, supporting medical student learning through Eastern Health’s Obstetric and Gynaecology department.
