Dr Christopher Steen

Dr Christopher Steen is a  General Surgeon with a focus on Colorectal surgery based in Bayside Melbourne and a clinical interest in the screening and treatment of colorectal cancer, as well as colonoscopy, gastroscopy and proctology (haemorrhoids and anal disease). Dr Steen also provides expert surgical treatment for a range of general surgery conditions, including abdominal hernias, gallstones, and pilonidal disease.

 

Dr Steen has completed extensive medical training, including a Fellowship in General Surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), as well as a further sub-specialisation in Colorectal surgery with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSSANZ). Dr Steen also practices as a certified endoscopist with GESA certification.
