About

Dr Tracey was born and raised on the Gold Coast, and graduated from Medicine at the University of Queensland in 1998. Prior to embarking on his Urology training, Dr Tracey trained in general surgery for 4 years, including working in the transplant and hepatobiliary units at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

In 2006 he was awarded a Masters of Philosophy following completion of dedicated research into dendritic cell immunotherapy for prostate cancer.

Following his Urology training in Queensland, including working at the Gold Coast Hospital, he completed his FRACS (Urol.) fellowship examinations in 2009. He then embarked on a 20 month Uro-oncology fellowship in London, initially at Charing Cross Hospital, gaining further experience in laparoscopic and open oncologic surgery. Subsequent to that he worked at the University College Hospital in central London on a robotic surgical fellowship.

Dr Tracey holds a VMO position at the Gold Coast Hospital and will conduct theatre sessions at Pindara Private Hospital. His specialty covers all aspects of general urology, with interests in laparoscopic surgery and urinary stone disease.
