Dr Chung-yao Yu

Dr Yu received his medical degree from UNSW and further completed a PhD at the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute and UNSW supported by a Heart Foundation scholarship. His research focused on optimising CT coronary angiography into clinical practice which has significantly optimised management of chest pain in the emergency department. He completed an advanced cardiac imaging fellowship in St Vincent's Hospital Sydney and was the inaugural fellow of the fellowship.

Dr Yu has a Level B certification in Coronary CT as well as accreditation in Cardiac MRI. He was also involved in several important international studies on T2 Mapping in Cardiac MRI.
