Dr Colin Tuft is a Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician. He is a graduate of the University of Sydney and completed his specialist respiratory training in St Vincent’s, St George and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals. He worked in Northern Sydney for four years after completing his training before moving to Coffs Harbour to improve access to respiratory and sleep care in the region.
Colin has a broad interest in the management of respiratory disorders including cough, asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, interstitial lung disease and lung cancer. He is interested in all sleep disorders including sleep-related breathing disorders, hypersomnolence, insomnia and parasomnias. He performs flexible bronchoscopy as well as linear endobronchial ultrasound-guided biopsies of lymph nodes and pulmonary masses.
He believes that communication, education and patient centred care are key to the management of respiratory conditions.
