DR CONNIE DIAKOS

Dr Connie Diakos is a medical oncologist treating hepatobiliary-pancreatic and gastrointestinal cancers at the Northern Sydney Cancer Centre of Royal North Shore Hospital. She is also a conjoint senior lecturer with the University of Sydney and a member of the Bill Walsh Translational Cancer Research Laboratory with a research interest in determining prognostic and predictive biomarkers of inflammation in patients with hepatobiliary-pancreatic and other malignancies. These markers may be of use in decision-making around the treatment of these patients and help achieve improved patient outcomes.
