About
Dr David Colledge is a General Surgeon with an interest in colorectal surgery. He has been practicing on the Sunshine Coast since 2002.
He graduated with a MBBS from the University of Queensland in 1991. After post graduate training in General Surgery, he was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2000. Post-fellowship training in colorectal surgery was undertaken in the United Kingdom, in Edinburgh and Oxford.
Dr Colledge is a member of the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand, General Surgeons Australia, and the Australian Medical Association.
Colorectal interests include laparoscopic and robotic colorectal surgery, treatment of defecatory disorders and colonoscopy. He continues to treat a variety of general surgical conditions including gallstones, hernia, and in-theatre skin surgery.
