About
Dr David Deller MBBS FRACP grew up and completed secondary schooling and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, here on the Gold Coast. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2004, at the University of Queensland, and subsequently trained extensively in hospitals throughout South East Queensland.
Dr Deller then completed two years of advanced training in Respiratory Medicine at The Royal Brisbane Hospital and a fellowship year in Sleep Medicine at Greenslopes Private Hospital, prior to returning to the Gold Coast to live with his young family.
Dr Deller has extensive experience in the management of all general respiratory conditions including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, interstitial lung disease, sarcoidosis, bronchiectasis, pulmonary infection and pleural diseases.
In addition to general respiratory medicine, he has an interest in lung cancer and interventional bronchoscopy including endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) and has launched the Gold Coast’s first comprehensive EBUS service. He is the only private respiratory and sleep medicine physician performing these procedures in the region.
