Dr David Martin

Dr Martin is General Surgeon with interest in upper GI surgery at Concord, Royal Prince Alfred and Strathfield Private Hospitals, University of Sydney. His interests include Laparoscopic Oeosphago-Gastric Surgery including for Cancer, Hiatus Hernia & Reflux Surgery, Bariatric Surgery (Sleeve Gastrectomy and Gastric Bypass) and Complex Revisional Surgery.

Dr Martin's team maintains large prospective databases of his work in all these fields and are widely published with several landmark clinical research papers, Cochrane reviews and novel techniques. He also runs regular Live operating & Technical courses and Conferences for specialist surgeons and is on several boards including the Australian and New Zealand Oesophago-Gastric Surgical Association and is the Chair of the Sydney Upper GI Surgical Society.
