Dr David Thomson

Clinical Practice:

Dr David Thomson is a Specialist Cardiologist who offers services for both general and interventional cardiology. Dr Thomson is also the Director of the Coronary Catheter Laboratory and Deputy Head of the Cardiology Department at Joondalup Health Campus where he treats public patients at Joondalup Health Campus and private patients at Joondalup Private Hospital.

Background & Training:

Dr Thomson completed his original medical training (MBBS) in 2001 at The University of Western Australia with basic physician training through Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and St John of God Hospital, Subiaco. He then completed 12 months of interventional cardiology sub-specialty training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, followed by a further 12 months at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, British Columbia (Canada); an internationally renowned radial access service.
