About
Dr Deepu Thaiparambil Balakrishnan completed his physician and cardiology training at Flinders Medical Centre, Adelaide and an interventional fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.
Deepu then trained in complex coronary and structural heart intervention in multiple centres in the UK before working as a consultant in the UK, focusing on complex structural heart intervention and TAVI.
Deepu is well experienced in medical and interventional treatment of coronary artery disease including complex coronary intervention, advanced valvular heart failure, valvular heart disease and percutaneous treatment of structural heart diseases.
