Dr Dhina Chandran

Dr Chandran completed her advanced training in Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery in Queensland, gaining extensive experience at major hospitals including the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, and the Queensland Children’s Hospital. During this time, she developed expertise in the surgical and clinical management of adult and paediatric ENT conditions.

Following her training, Dr Chandran was invited to join Hunter ENT, a thriving ENT practice, as a locum ENT surgeon. She was also appointed as a Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) ENT surgeon at John Hunter Hospital, Maitland Hospital, and Belmont Hospital, contributing to both public and private ENT services across the Hunter region.

Dr Chandran has now moved to Coffs Harbour, in Gumbaynggirr country, to provide high-quality ENT services to the local community and surrounding regional areas. She will practice at Coffs ENT and operate at Baringa Private Hospital, while continuing to support public healthcare as a VMO ENT surgeon at Coffs Base Hospital, delivering specialist ENT care across the region.

When not working, Dr Chandran enjoys spending time with her husband and son, her biggest inspiration. She also loves playing tennis and travelling.
