Dr Domenika Turkiewicz

After graduating from the University of Queensland, Dr Domenika Turkiewicz trained in General Surgery before undertaking a Fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery. She is a member of Breast Section Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (now Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand) and Australian Endicrine Surgeons as well as other professional bodies including international associations. She utilises intra-operative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring during all thyroid and parathyroid procedures.

 

Dr Turkiewicz values the close interaction she has with her patients, particularly female breast cancer patients who are unique in their needs and expectations of their health carers. She practices within Multidisciplinary Breast Cancer setting and is a surgical VMO at Breast Screen QLD Southside Service.
