Background & Training:

Dr. Doug Kingwell's journey in healthcare commenced with secondary education in the wheatbelt town of Narrogin. He earned his medical degree from the University of Western Australia in 2004, marking the beginning of his commitment to orthopaedic medicine. He completed advanced Orthopaedic training in 2019, shaping his expertise in reconstructive surgery of the knee, shoulder, and hip, with a specific emphasis on joint preservation and trauma surgery. Dr. Kingwell pursued advanced Fellowship training at the University of British Columbia. During this period, he played a pivotal role in treating national representatives in field hockey, basketball, American football, and Olympian athletes. This international exposure enriched his knowledge and expanded his skill set, allowing him to bring innovative techniques to his practice in Perth. Dr. Kingwell's comprehensive background and diverse training underscore his commitment to providing the highest standard of orthopaedic care, offering tailored solutions for his patients' needs.
