About
Dr Drew Tarrant is an orthopaedic surgeon providing specialist care across the Newcastle and Hunter region.
A Novocastrian by upbringing, he returned home after working across Queensland and New South Wales to complete his orthopaedic surgical training through the Newcastle Training Scheme, predominantly at John Hunter Hospital.
Following FRACS, Drew undertook subspecialty fellowships in foot and ankle surgery, and in lower limb reconstruction and salvage surgery with an emphasis on diabetic limb management, alongside further surgical education in the UK, Europe, and Singapore. He remains active in teaching and research, presenting at domestic and international meetings.
