Dr Eduardo Gaio

Dr Gaio completed his training in intensive care medicine and respiratory medicine at the University of Brasilia, Brazil. His qualifications include a master's in sleep medicine from Pablo de Olavide University, Spain, and a PhD in medical sciences from the University of Brasilia. Dr Gaio has completed post-doctoral studies in the world-renowned Department of Physiology at the University of California in San Diego and has supervised post-graduate researchers at the University of Brasilia.

Dr Gaio had the opportunity to contribute to academic research and some publications in medical journals. He held an associate professor position at the University of Brasilia before commencing work in Australia in 2016 and was a Senior Lecturer at Deakin University.

He is currently practicing at the Breathe Respiratory and Sleep Medicine in Cairns.
