About
Dr Elizabeth Varughese is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with an interest in Endometriosis. Elizabeth operates at Tamara Private Hospital in Tamworth and Armidale Private Hospital.
Dr Varughese received her basic medical qualifications in India and then went on to complete her specialist training in Australia. She holds dual fellowships of both British college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RCOG) and the Australian and New Zealand college of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (RANZCOG).
Dr Varughese has an interest in Laparoscopic and Robotic surgery and delivers high quality complex gynaecological surgeries to Tamworth. Her areas of interest include, Endometriosis, Minimally invasive surgery for large fibroid uterus and benign pelvic masses as well as a range of Uro-gynaecology services.
