Dr Ellen Yeung

Dr Ellen Yeung is a urogynaecologist and gynaecologist, with a particular interest in the management of pelvic floor disorders.

After graduating from Monash University, Dr Yeung completed her training in obstetrics and gynaecology across multiple centres in Tasmania, Melbourne and Sydney and was awarded her specialist qualification from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (FRANZCOG). Subsequently, she undertook a 3-year fellowship in urogynaecology at the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital and at Gold Coast University and Robina Hospitals. She also holds a Masters in Reproductive Medicine. 

Dr Yeung is actively involved in clinical research and education and has multiple publications in international peer-reviewed journals. She holds academic appointments as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland and Griffith University and contributes regularly to medical student education. Dr Yeung maintains a public appointment as a urogynaecologist at Gold Coast University Hospital and the Queensland Pelvic Mesh Service and consults privately at Pindara Private Hospital (Gold Coast) and Greenslopes Private Hospital (Brisbane). 

Dr Yeung is passionate about providing holistic, evidence based urogynaecological care to women focusing on their individual needs and concerns.

Pelvic floor surgery (both minimally invasive and vaginal surgery), pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections, bladder pain, voiding difficulties.
