Dr Emily Young

Dr Emily Young graduated from the University of Leeds Medical School in 2005. Since then she has become specialised in the field of Otorhinolaryngology. She undertook speciality training at various hospitals in the United Kingdom including the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham gaining her Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2016.

Emily has completed advanced fellowship training in Vancouver, at Canada’s leading hospitals, including St Paul’s Hospital and Vancouver General Hospital, under the tutelage of Dr Brian Westerberg and Dr Jane Lea and training in the area of neuro-otology and otology. She was awarded the Colledge Family Fellowship fund and during her fellowship abroad Emily obtained her Masters in Public Health from the University of Liverpool.

Emily and her family relocated to regional South West Victoria and in 2022 Emily passed the Fellowship of the Royal Australia College of Surgeons. She is fully registered as an Otolaryngologist – head and neck surgeon (ENT) specialist in both Australia and the United Kingdom by way of examination. Emily has a public appointment at the Northern Hospital in Epping, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Epping and is also consulting locally in East Ringwood.

Emily treats all general adult and paediatric ENT conditions. Emily has published in a number of leading journals and presented at international conferences in the field of ENT. Emily welcomes all ENT referrals.
