Dr Erwin Groeneveld

Dr Erwin Groeneveld is an experienced Ophthalmologist and performs Vitreoretinal Surgery. He established a private practice, Brisbane Eye Clinic in 1990. He has served as a Visiting Medical Officer to the Public Hospitals and Veteran’s Affairs for over 25 years where he taught trainee registrars. He now provides on call services for private ophthalmic emergencies.

 

Dr Groeneveld has extensive experience in the management of complex: 
• Cataract Surgery 
• Retinal Surgery 
• Diabetic Eye Disease
• AMD 
• Glaucoma

 

 He has served as an officer in the Australian Army Reserve, as an AusAID surgeon in the Pacific and as an office bearer for his professional college.
