Dr Eva Kretowicz

Dr Eva Kretowicz is an obstetrician, gynaecologist, and fertility specialist who has been working in private practice since 1999. Her expertise covers a myriad of women’s health and fertility areas making her adept at managing simple to complex cases.
Upon completing her medical degree at Gdansk Medical School in Poland, Dr Kretowicz migrated to Australia in 1988 and undertook specialist training through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). Dr Kretowicz continued her training at the Redcliffe, Cairns Base, and Logan/QEII hospitals and joined the Queensland Fertility Group (QFG) in 2009, and has remained an associate since then. During this time, she also pursued interests in laparoscopic surgery and infertility, adding these specialist treatments to her repertoire.

Dr Kretowicz has access to the latest assisted reproductive technology and the highest standard of care and is committed to providing anyone aspiring to have a child the best opportunity to create their family. She offers a variety of fertility services from simple, minimally invasive treatments such as ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination, to more advanced treatments such as in-vitro fertilisation, intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and a dedicated donor program for anyone needing donor eggs, sperm or embryos to have a baby.
Consulting primarily from her practice on Wickham Terrace as well as at North West Private Hospital, she delivers at North West Private hospitals and her care is easily accessible. Dr Kretowicz has two children of her own, giving her an understanding of women’s health concerns – from adolescent gynaecology to the journey of being a new parent.
