About

Fiona Tudehope is a gastroenterologist and hepatologist with subspecialty expertise in upper gastrointestinal physiology. She has undertaken international fellowship training in the investigation of reflux and swallowing disorders, with particular expertise in high-resolution manometry and multichannel intraluminal impedance–pH studies.

 

Fiona completed her advanced training in gastroenterology at Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospitals and now works as a Visiting Medical Officer at Westmead Hospital in addition to her role at Shore Gastroenterology.

 

Her clinical interests span functional gastrointestinal disorders, reflux disease, dysphagia, and gut motility disorders. Alongside her clinical practice, Fiona is pursuing a Master of Research in Medicine at UNSW and holds a clinical research fellowship at Queen Mary University, London, focusing on neurogastroenterology and disorders of gut–brain interaction.

 

She is committed to providing patient-centred, evidence-based care with a thoughtful and compassionate approach.
