Dr Ganesh Shiva

Dr Shiva is an Australian trained Neurosurgeon with an interest in
cranial, spinal and peripheral nerve surgery. He is a Fellow of the
Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Neurosurgery. Dr Shiva
is a visiting medical officer in Neurosurgery at St George Private
Hospital and Liverpool Public Hospital.
Dr Shiva practises a patient-centred approach with his patients,
always respecting their needs and values. He is committed to
achieving optimal outcomes for his patients. Dr Shiva believes in
honesty and transparency when discussing his patient’s condition
and setting realistic expectations for treatment outcomes.
Dr Shiva is a passionate teacher and mentor and enjoys his position
as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at UNSW, training medical students
and registrars in Neurosurgery.
