About
Dr Puri is the current Chair of Statewide Diabetes Clinical Network of Queensland Senior Staff Specialist Endocrine & Diabetes at Cairns Hospital, as well as Cairns Diabetes Centre.
Gaurav graduated in 2003 and has since worked in various health services including NHS in the UK and WA Health. He completed his endocrine training and obtained Fellowship in Western Australia, and has worked in specialist roles at Royal Perth Hospital prior to moving to Far North Queensland in the second half of 2016.
His interests include:
- Diabetes mellitus: Type 1DM, Type II DM and others
- Wider endocrine pathologies including pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, reproductive and neuroendocrine tumours
- Obesity & metabolic syndrome
Dr Puri consults privately and also sees inpatients at Cairns Private Hospital.
