About
Dr Quail received his medical degree from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa in 2002. He subsequently completed ENT specialist training at the University of Cape Town and also obtained a Masters of Medical Degree in Otorhinolaryngology and continued his training in the UK.
In 2018, Dr Quail completed an observership at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer centre in New York as part of a Fellowship with the International Federation of Head and Neck Oncologic Societies, and he is a Fellow of the Australasian and South African College of Surgeons.
Dr Quail has a broad-based interest in all aspects of ENT, including sinus surgery, otology, paediatric ENT and head and neck surgery.
Gavin moved to Cairns in 2021 with his family and is operating at Cairns Private Hospital and Ramsay Surgical Centre Cairns.
