About
Dr Geoffrey Tofler has had 20 years experience as a clinical consultant cardiologist. He worked for 13 years at Harvard Medical School Hospital in Boston, before returning to Royal North Shore Hospital in 1998 as a Senior Staff Specialist. His particular cardiology expertise is in prevention of heart disease, and the management of heart failure. Geoffrey is also widely regarded in Australia and internationally for his research work in the causes of heart attack. He is co-author of more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles or book chapters. He is currently Medical Director of the Management of Cardiac Function program, and medical Director of the North Shore Heart Research Foundation. He is available for inpatient and out patient assessment and management of patients with heart disease.
