Dr George Petrou leads the Mid North Coast Bariatric & Hernia Centre, with an interest in complex laparoscopic abdominal wall hernia repair, laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery and hepatobiliary surgery (gall bladder). He offers a comprehensive bariatric surgery program including the mini gastric bypass and sleeve gastrectomy and a dedicated patient support group.
Dr Petrou’s service is tailored to look after patients living locally and outside of Port Macquarie. His multi disciplinary team approach includes health professionals from rural and regional NSW.
