Dr Glenn Gomez

Dr Glenn Gomez is an experienced, Australian trained, Orthopaedic surgeon in Rockhampton with interests in hip, knee and shoulder surgery, including robotic joint replacement and advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques.

Dr Gomez graduated from Monash University Medical School, with first class honours, in 2004.

Glenn subsequently went on to complete his Orthopaedic surgical training in Victoria and Tasmania and has trained in some of the most highly regarded orthopaedic hospitals in Melbourne. He was admitted as a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013 and commenced practice in Rockhampton the same year. He is a member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.

Glenn has undertaken additional post fellowship training, both locally and internationally, with some of the world’s most respected surgeons in advanced techniques such as anterior approach minimally invasive hip replacement surgery, Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery and advanced arthroscopic surgical techniques of the knee and shoulder.

Most recently Glenn has trained and obtained accreditation in  COOLIEF Cooled Radiofrequency neurotomy of the hip, knee and shoulder. A minimally invasive pain management technique for patients who have hip, knee or shoulder joint pain but are not yet ready for, or unable to have, surgery to treat their condition.
