About

Dr Graham Tronc is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a broad practice encompassing all aspects of women’s health. He obtained his Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) in 1990.

Dr Tronc has particular clinical interests in endometriosis, adenomyosis, infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, and menstrual disorders such as dysmenorrhoea. His fertility practice includes the management of artificial insemination and in vitro fertilisation (IVF) cycles, including egg and sperm freezing and storage.

Dr Tronc began his medical career in Brisbane in 1981. After completing two years of residency, he gained extensive experience as a night registrar, providing care for women during pregnancy and childbirth under consultant supervision. His formal specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology commenced at the Royal Women’s Hospital, with further rotations through Ipswich, Cairns, and the Princess Alexandra Hospitals. Dr Tronc completed his final year of specialist training in Essex, England, before returning to Brisbane to begin private practice.

He is a Clinical Consultant with City Fertility Centre in Newstead and has held appointments at several Brisbane hospitals, including North West Private Hospital.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Tronc has established several initiatives focused on women’s health. He founded the Brisbane Fibroid Clinic and the Brisbane Endometriosis Clinic in 2001 and continues to work with the Endometriosis Care Centre of Australia (ECCA) in Brisbane. In 2005, he developed Endometriosis Solutions for Rural Women, and in 2019 he launched Endologics™, an online platform designed to support general practitioners in the early recognition and management of endometriosis symptoms.

Dr Tronc’s attitude to the care of pregnant women is simple. He respects that people may have their own ideas, preferences and customs for how they want their pregnancy and labour to progress.
