About

Dr Greg Finch is an orthopaedic surgeon with over 20 years in specialist practice. He manages the full range of spinal conditions, including degenerative disorders, disc herniations, deformity correction, and revision surgery.

He holds an Australasian Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Orthopaedic Surgery and has completed subspecialty spinal surgery fellowships in the USA, UK, and Germany, including at Oregon Health Sciences University, Shriners Children’s Hospital (Portland), The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and Children’s Hospital (Birmingham), and with Dr Jürgen Harms in Heidelberg.

Dr Finch has worked within the Western Australian Spinal Service, providing care for patients with spinal deformity, trauma, and urgent spinal conditions. He has lectured at the University of Western Australia and is involved in the selection of orthopaedic trainees in Australia.

He has performed over 2000 minimally invasive spinal procedures and incorporates these techniques when clinically appropriate. Management is individualised, with non-operative and operative options considered based on the patient’s condition.
