About
Dr Bangash further refined his expertise by completing a fellowship at Monash Health in Melbourne—Victoria’s largest public health service—where he gained experience across all aspects of urology, with a focus on major uro-oncology procedures. He subsequently undertook a high-volume fellowship at University Hospital Southampton (UHS) in the United Kingdom, a leading centre for uro-oncology. There, he specialised in robotic surgery, including prostatectomy, partial and radical nephrectomy, nephroureterectomy, pyeloplasty, and cystectomy, as well as complex open surgeries such as IVC thrombectomy and retroperitoneal lymph node dissection.
He has authored peer-reviewed journal articles and presented his work at international urology conferences. Dr Bangash is also committed to education and actively mentors urology registrars.
He currently holds consultant positions at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, and Joondalup Health Campus. His primary interest lies in uro-oncology, with expertise in both robotic and open major surgeries. He also has a strong interest in managing male voiding symptoms, bladder outlet obstruction, elevated PSA, kidney stone disease, penoscrotal conditions, and vasectomy.
