About
Dr Hancock graduated from UQ in Brisbane, and completed GP training in WA. He was previously a Medical Officer with the Royal Australian Navy and served as the Senior Advisor in Submarine Medicine for several years before moving back to Cairns. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Sports Medicine.
Interests include:
- Sports medicine
- Underwater, expedition and remote medicine
- Indigenous & Child Health
Outside of work he likes to walk his dog and spend time with his young family.
Dr Hancock is a local GP at Redlynch and Kuranda Medical Centres.
