Dr Helen Steiner

Waverley Private Hospital would like to introduce Dr Helen Steiner, ophthalmologist. Helen has lived in Australia all her life. She attended Ormond East Primary and McKinnon Secondary School and has lived in the area most of her life.

She did her medical training at Monash University and completed this in 1985. She did her specialist ophthalmology training at the Eye and Ear Hospital, completing this in 1994. Since then, she has worked at the Eye and Ear and Maroondah Hospitals in public clinics. She is currently also in private practice in Boronia. She operates at the Eye and Ear, Waverley, and Vermont private hospitals.

Helen is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with interests in cataract, glaucoma, and childhood eye disease. She is married with two adult children and a dog.
