Dr Heshini De Silva

Dr Heshini De Silva is a Pain Medicine Physician and Rehabilitation Physician with almost two decades of experience. She began her career as a senior clinical pharmacist in Australia and New Zealand before completing her medical education at the University of Wollongong.

Following her medical degree, Dr De Silva undertook qualifications in Rehabilitation Medicine through the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Her extensive experience spans both public and private sectors, including renowned institutions such as the Spinal Injuries Unit, the Queensland Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service, and Gold Coast University Hospital, as well as Gold Coast Private Hospital.

Dr De Silva also completed her Pain Medicine Fellowship with the Australia New Zealand College of Anaesthetists at the Metro South Pain Rehabilitation Centre and the Interdisciplinary Persistent Pain Service at Gold Coast Health. She now holds both public and private appointments in Pain medicine and rehabilitation.
