Dr Ivan Ling

Clinical Practice

Dr Ling is a Specialist Respiratory and Sleep Physician providing comprehensive care in all aspects of respiratory and sleep medicine. He provides comprehensive specialist care in all aspects of Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, with subspecialty interest in lung cancer diagnosis & staging, including rapid access (within 1 week) assessment of patients with lung masses or suspected lung cancer, and advanced diagnostic services (including endobronchial ultrasound). Other specialty areas of interest include chronic cough, asthma, COPD and sleep disordered breathing. Dr Ling now provides consulting and reporting services at CRS. Dr Ling offers a range of services, including comprehensive inpatient and home-based sleep studies, implementation of positive airway pressure therapy, and a full range of lung function testing modalities via CRS (Cardio Respiratory Sleep). Inpatient services are provided on a no-gap basis at Hollywood Private Hospital, with capability to offer urgent outpatient appointments as needed. In addition, he has a public hospital appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.

 

Background & Training

Dr Ling is a local graduate who completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia. He subsequently completed specialist training in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, including completion of a Graduate Certificate in Adult Sleep Science.
