About
Dr Jacob de Looze is a dual qualified consultant oral and maxillofacial surgeon. He has completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science, and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. Jacob is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons: Special stream Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Jacob holds public appointment posts at Gold Coast University Hospital, Logan Hospital and Ipswich Hospital, where he continues to facilitate the training of registrars. Jacob is the Supervisor of Maxillofacial Surgical training at Logan Hospital and has an ongoing interest in medical education and surgical training. He is also Secretary of the Queensland Branch of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
Jacob practices a full range of oral and maxillofacial procedures, such as dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, trauma surgery, head and neck surgery and pathology.
Aside from his work life, Jacob is busy with his wife and 3 daughters, who constantly have him training them on a softball diamond. When he is not training them, he is President of Saints Softball Club and spends his time out on the field coaching. He is passionate about health and active lifestyles for children and their families.
