Dr James Dalgliesh

Dr James Dalgliesh FRANZCO, MBBS (hons), BSc. completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney as a Post Graduate student. Prior to his medical studies he had completed a Bachelor of Science in molecular biotechnology.

James commenced his Ophthalmology training in 2015 as part of the Sydney Eye Hospital network. After completion James undertook a further 2 years of  training in Oculoplastics and following his fellowship at Sydney Eye Hospital stayed on in the department as a locum Oculoplastic Consultant. During this time James was actively involved in teaching and supervision of Registrars in both Oculoplastics and Cataract surgery.

As a consultant with MBL Eye Surgeons James will be using his extensive training in Oculoplastics and General Ophthalmology for treatment and surgery on a wide range of eye conditions including:

• Skin cancers
• Lacrimal diseases/DCR surgery
• Ptosis
• Eyelid malpositions
• Age related Macular Degeneration
• Diabetes related conditions
• Thyroid eye diseases
• Cataracts
