About
Dr Dalrymple believes that the best medical care combines strong scientific evidence with clear communication, empathy and a genuine partnership with patients and their families, ensuring people feel informed, supported and involved in decisions about their care. She completed her medical degree (MBBS) at Western Sydney University, graduating in 2016, and was awarded the Dean’s Medal for outstanding academic achievement. Following graduation, she undertook junior doctor training across a range of metropolitan, regional and rural hospitals in New South Wales, including St George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital, Wollongong Hospital, Nowra Hospital and Coffs Harbour Health Campus. Alongside her clinical training, she has pursued a strong interest in research, medical student education and evidence-based practice. In 2023, she completed a Master of Public Health, with a particular focus on clinical trials. Through this work, she developed a passion for understanding how medical research translates into real-world care, and how clinical evidence can be used more effectively to support shared decision-making with patients. She is currently undertaking a PhD focused on clinical trial endpoints and the relationship between real-world data and clinical trial outcomes. Her research aims to help bridge the gap between controlled trial environments and everyday clinical practice, ensuring that research findings better reflect patient experiences and lead to tangible improvements in care, aligning more closely with what matters most to patients. Across both her clinical and academic work, she brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach, with a strong emphasis on communication, trust and continuity of care.
