Dr Jason Chou

Waverley Private Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr Jason Chou, who has advanced training in anaesthesia and pain medicine.

 

Jason grew up in Perth and completed his medical degree at the University of Western Australia. He commenced his anaesthesia training in the United
Kingdom, before relocating to Melbourne to undertake further subspecialty training.

 

He completed an Adult Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, followed by a Paediatric Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Royal
Children’s Hospital. Jason currently works in anaesthesia and pain medicine at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and The Alfred and holds a Clinical
Senior Lecturer appointment at the University of Melbourne.

 

Jason previously served as Head of the Pain Service at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, contributing to multidisciplinary care, service development,
and education.
