About

Dr Jason Restall graduated from the University of Queensland in 2003 before completing his haematopathology qualifications with the Royal Australasian College of Pathologists in 2012.

He brings broad haematological understanding to private practice, having trained as a Clinical Haematologist at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and as a Laboratory Haematologist with Pathology Queensland. He was awarded Fellowships of the Royal Australian College of Physicians and the Royal Australian College of Pathologists in 2013.

Committed to improving patient outcomes through research, he has participated in various studies and programs, including a study of Febrile Non-Haemolytic Transfusion Reactions in Queensland and an audit of Anagrelide Usage at the Gold Coast Hospital.

Dr Restall is equally focused on collaborative learning, dedicating time to lead or participate in peer education sessions with a view to improving care and outcomes for his patients.
