About
Dr Orford is a paediatric surgeon offering more than two decades of experience. After graduating from the University of Western Australia she attained a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Sydney and completed a fellowship in paediatric surgery with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Orford has practiced in public and private hospitals in Western Australia, as well as teaching and research academic at Curtin Medical School until February 2023 when she relocated to Newcastle NSW.
Dr Orford currently treats paediatric patients at the John Hunter Childrens Hospital and at Warners Bay Private Hospital. She provides advice and assistance regarding a range of paediatric and neonatal cases in which surgery is required, with telemedicine consultations available to those living in rural areas.
Dr Orford is also available to visit general practices to provide information and education sessions.
