Originally from Rural NSW, Dr Simpson obtained MBBS BMed B Surg (Hons) from the University of New South Wales in 2008.
He undertook basic Physician Training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Dr Simpson then completed Haematology training in the Eastern Sydney Network and Calvary Mater Newcastle.
Finally, Dr Simpson undertook a Clinical Trial Fellowship at the Calvary Mater Newcastle.
