Clinical Practice
Dr John Salmon is a Specialist Physician in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine who offers the gold standard Interdisciplinary Multimodal Pain Therapy (IMPT) approach. He focuses in implanted Neuro-modulation Therapy.
Dr Salmon has been in private practice in Perth since 1990 and he is the Medical Director of PainCare Perth which is a part of a collaborative interdisciplinary network of therapists in Perth. The group is engaged in neuromodulation research which aids treatment for patients.
Background & Training
Dr Salmon's medical training was undertaken at Guy's Hospital London. Anaesthetic training was obtained at Westminster and King's College London. Pain medicine training was undertaken at several top hospitals including Kings College Hospital and St Thomas Hospital in London. Oxford Pain Management Unit, The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and in Perth.
