Clinical Practice:
Dr Jonathan Teoh is a Specialist Cardiologist with a keen interest in general cardiology, chest pain syndromes and ischaemic heart disease, atrial fibrillation, complex valvular disease (e.g. mitral regurgitation and aortic stenosis) and heart failure/cardiomyopathies.
Dr Jonathan Teoh treats public patients at Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) and private patients at Ramsay Private at JHC.
At Joondalup Health Campus Dr Teoh provides inpatient and ambulatory outpatient care, cardiac catheterisation, cardiac device implantation and transeosophageal echocardiography (TOE).
Background & Training:
Dr Teoh completed his original medical training (MBBS) in 2003 at The University of Western Australia and undertook his basic physician training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Following this he completed Cardiology Advanced training at Sir Charles Gairdner and Fremantle Hospitals along with his Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellow at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital.
Dr Teoh travelled to the USA to complete a two-year subspecialty fellowship training and clinical and research fellowship in advanced echocardiography at Massachusetts General Hospital through the Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA from 2014 to 2016.
