About
Dr Jordan Weastell is proud to announce he is the first full-time local neurologist on the Coffs Coast in 18 years and commenced work at Baringa Private Hospital at the beginning of 2024.
He graduated from the Sydney Medical Program (USyd) in 2012 and obtained a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Neurology in 2022 having completed a Provisional Fellowship in Neurophysiology and Neuromuscular Disorders at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney.
During training he developed a taste for rural and remote medicine and always aimed to practice as a General Neurologist who can provide basic neurological services to areas of need. He is working hard to integrate into current local neurology support networks with both Gold Coast and Newcastle neurology services to ensure patient's can continue to expect prompt management of subspecialty needs within the field of neurology.
