About
Dr Joyce Ma is a General Surgeon with advanced training in both colorectal and hernia surgery. Dr Ma provides minimally invasive surgery including laparoscopic and robotic approaches. She is experienced in the management of malignant and benign colorectal conditions, as well as elective and emergency general surgical conditions. Dr Ma is also GESA certified in gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
After obtaining her Fellowship from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2023, she undertook a two-year colorectal and hernia fellowship at Barwon Health and Epworth Geelong, followed by the international John Goligher Colorectal Fellowship at St James's University Hospital in Leeds, UK.
Dr Ma has a public appointment at Peninsula University Hospital, Frankston.
