Dr Julien Schulberg

Julien is also an NHMRC postgraduate fellow and will complete his PhD in 2021. He has led and coordinated the first randomised trial assessing the impact of intensive versus standard drug therapy for patients with Crohn's disease strictures. He has also conducted a randomised trial incorporating novel endoscopic treatments to optimize care for patients with Crohn's disease. Julien has presented at multiple national and international conferences and has multiple peer review publications. He has also been a reviewer for Gut. Julien has trained overseas in Milan, Italy, in intestinal ultrasound and is accredited by the International Bowel Ultrasound Group (IBUS)
