Dr Justin Cole

Dr Cole is a specialist cardiologist, having completed extensive specialist training in the percutaneous treatment options for complex coronary artery disease, and intravascular imaging with Professor Scott Harding at Wellington Regional Hospital, New Zealand. Preceding this he spent 2 years at the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom, another high-volume centre, achieving further advance training and accreditation in transcatheter aortic valve implantation, and percutaneous coronary intervention.

In addition, Dr Cole has achieved his Doctor of Philosophy Degree (PhD) through Monash University, Clayton, for unique research assessing inflammation and injury post coronary artery stenting and acute myocardial infarction, finding a potential benefit in patients pre-treated with Colchicine in the randomised-controlled COPE-PCI trials.

 

Dr Cole is accredited to report both CT coronary angiogram and CT TAVI scans.

 

Further to Dr Cole's advanced training in Cardiology he is a dual specialist fellow of the Royal College of Physicians with accreditation in General Medicine.
